Should that ever happen, you can use the DMCA link on sites where somebody hosted one of your works. Legally operating sites "usually" do not offer any resistance, as long as you present proof of ownership (a link to your original upload here on NG or on itch.io will do).
Legally speaking, you are the copyright holder the moment you publish your work - unless you explicitly state that others can do things with your work as well.
